Creating a robust brand that truly reflects expertise and core focus.
HSB Resources started in 2021 to offer safety resources and solutions primarily to the oil and gas sector. As they expanded into other industries, it became clear that their branding didn’t reflect their core focus on safety. There was a disconnect with their identity not aligning with their industry and services.
The team initially approached us to discuss launching new services, capability statements, and content marketing. After some discussion, we determined that starting with a brand refresh and new website would best support their rapid growth and set them up for long-term success.
Solution
We began with an in-depth brand discovery workshop to understand the business and its vision. While retaining their maroon primary colour, we refreshed the brand identity with an updated icon, extended their colour palette, and created comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency as they grew.
The new icon is a shield shape that incorporates tick symbols and the letter “H,” tying HSB to safety and compliance. We also helped refine their tagline and key messaging, allowing their brand personality to shine through and providing the foundations for their new website. The website is user-friendly, flexible, and designed to scale with their evolving needs.
Since then, we’ve continued to support HSB Resources with other services such as:
- Professional capability statement
- Easy to use templates in Word and PowerPoint to ensure brand consistency
- Providing social media training and setting up branded social templates to strengthen their online presence

What started as a conversation around content marketing evolved into a comprehensive brand transformation. HSB is incredibly proud of their refreshed brand, which now clearly reflects who they are and what they do.
