Challenge

SPELD Qld needed a fast, efficient solution to build awareness, confidence and drive assessment bookings. 

SPELD Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation supporting people with learning difficulties through advocacy, assessments and educational resources. In early 2025, the organisation experienced a noticeable drop in assessment bookings compared to previous years, placing pressure on both revenue and service delivery.

With limited time and budget, SPELD required a solution that could quickly lift awareness, rebuild confidence in their assessment services and convert interest into bookings, without undertaking a full website rebuild.

Focused Marketing recommended a tightly scoped, tactical campaign designed to deliver immediate results while establishing a foundation for future growth. The strategy centred on clarity, simplicity and a single call to action.

We developed a dedicated assessment landing page that clearly explained the assessment process, addressed common questions and made it easy for families and educators to book. This was supported by a targeted content marketing program, including articles and a downloadable guide for parents and teachers.

Integrated email and social media campaigns drove traffic to the landing page, while training and reusable templates empowered SPELD’s internal team to continue marketing activity confidently beyond the campaign period.

Results

The campaign delivered strong, immediate outcomes over a three-month period. Assessment form submissions increased by 88 per cent, demonstrating a direct uplift in bookings.

Engagement grew significantly across digital channels, with 343 per cent growth in content interactions, 88 per cent growth in Facebook views and 106 per cent increase in online contact form submissions. The campaign proved that a focused, insight-led approach can deliver measurable results quickly, even within modest budgets, while strengthening internal capability for ongoing impact.
